Great shower pressure. Free showers, but very small cubicles unless you use the shower/ toilet unisex combo.
Best dump station for hygiene so far with soap and handbasin provided.
The actual dump also had its own flush and a lid.
Kitchen had detergent provided too.
Would happily return here.
$40 for 2 people unpowered.
We stayed 5 nights and had a not so pleasant experience. The owner tried to give us some moral lessons twice instead of first asking herself what situation we were in. Her approach was quite aggressive and judgmental - inappropriate and insensitive to the given circumstances. She must have had bad experiences in the past and therefore takes things personally. That's a shame for the business. However, she can be friendly and helpful if you butter her up. The rest of the staff was nice. Facilities clean. Showers on one end, hot water did not work. Other end worked fine. No kitchen utilities provided - only for rent, which we found disappointing for a TOP 10 Holiday Park.
Sadly, only booked one night when passing thru to Nelson. Clean, well maintained, new carpeting. Great kitchen facilities, toilets were clean and tidy. Close to the beach. Nothing to grumble about here!!
Was great to be able to have a quiet nice in a peaceful place. Great facilities. Awesome pressure showers. Got lots of washing done. And nice kitchen. Would highly recommend. And only $20 per person.
Very good camp spot. Just across the road from the sandy beach (still a 4 minute walk). The showers and toilets in our block were fantastic. Great BBQ and kitchen area. Grass or concrete pads available. Great spot.
Shar-ron & Jim
Great campsite across from beach. Lovely modern/clean showers very roomy. Dinner at local restaurant just 5-10min walk down road. Staff friendly and helpfull
Nice spot just across from the beach.
Good facilities especially if you're travelling with small children.
They charge for 3 years and up, we paid $53 for 2 adults, a 3 year old and an infant for 1 night non-powered

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at our first Top 10 park. Yes it was $48 for 2 on a powered site but it was right by the beach, had a large and very well equipped kitchen, lovely big and sparkling clean ensuite bathrooms, large laundry facility costing $4 for a wash and the staff are lovely and helpful. It also had a dump station and water so for all those reasons it was perfect for us and worth every cent. Thanks guys! Newbie UK Jucy campers :)
Usual Top10 facilities available. Used the showers and washer/dryers. Easy stroll onto the beach across the road. Nice kitchen but no utensils or pans.
Nice camp with liveky clean facilities, showers included & really good price for non power site as a member. Right opposite the wild beach & close to Cape Fowlwind. Just a few km's out of town. Definately recommend.
Lovely friendly staff. Excellent clean facilities. Beautiful waterfront location. Very happy, we only stayed on unpowered site but beautiful all the same.
Close to a beautiful beach.
Lots of space and the facilities are big and clean.
(Especially the showers which are huge.)
Very friendly tenants.
Great place. All there. Modern kitchen.
Nice site next to the beach. Large sites with some privacy and good facilities.
Set back from the beach but a short walk away. Lots of space in non powered area. Fun looking playground & bouncy thing. Clean showers and well kept grounds.
Happy Camping 🌿
Spacious sites, large kitchen but not much equipment, let you use body-surfing
Top 10 parks are not the cheapest, but the standards are high and this one is no exception. The park is a large open area with a sealed parking area for powered motorhome sites - which we appreciated granted the rain. This layout does mean there's no privacy between but there was plenty of room. Facilities are clean and modern. There were two sets of toilets, one being family bathrooms with toilet/shower which was a nice touch. Walking distance to the beach and a cafe up the road that had a brilliant breakfast, and has a Top 10 discount also. Management were friendly and helpful, suggesting best time to see the seals the following morning (dodging the worst of the weather, and she was right!). It's a drive to the seals or Westport from here. A flushing stainless steel dump station was the final surprise as we departed.

Great facility and close to the beach but staff were incredibly rude.
In line with the going rate ($40 for 2 people unpowered site). Very nice facilities - well set up kitchen with gear, showers clean, grounds neat and tidy. Reception people lovely and welcoming. Internet slow in patches but reasonable compared with what we've experienced at other NZ parks (100mb free, paid for more). Right across from beach. Out of the Westport township.
Awful people. These people were really rude with us and not giving the promised services. We were 1 night there and the showers were not properly working. We went to reception to ask for explanation and to discuss the price given that we were not using the amenities they were supposedly providing, but they shout at us and laugh at our face as if we were shit Awful people and expensive place for no returns.
Agree with previous reviews, really expensive place for what the facilities. Additionally the owners are really greedy and not nice at all. Don't give them your money, they don't deserve it.
Nice and peaceful campsite. Pretty decent facilities with plenty of showers and hot water. Had the best value internet we've experienced in NZ, $5 for 10GB!
Excellent camping ground, very good facilities e.g. family bathroom with good hair dryer, very new playground with trampoline. All bathrooms clean. Very friendly staff with good tips and hints. Located directly at the long black sand beach where you can walk for miles. Caravan slot no. 52 very suitable for families as closest to playground with a very large area of green in front. From here, the perfect view for sunset.
Worst place we have stayed yet. Facilities mediocre and atmosphere totally lacking. Powered site was nothing more than a paved parking space.

I like this camping, big, in the nature near a big beach. The kitchen was top. Excellent to walk before sleeping.
We stayed here at a powered site in July. There were only three other people here, so extremely quiet. The park is very clean and tidy. The owners are uber friendly. The facilities are very homely. They are not modern, but that helped create the open and warm atmosphere. The beach is across the road - so views and great walks to be had. There's a playground down the road and a great bakery/cafe too. I don't often recommend parks, but this was really nice.
Facilities are very nice and the location next to the beach is charming. That said we were 3 in a self contained van and had to pay more than $70 which is crazy expensive. Never had to pay that much for a camping ground. Disappointing especially when we have been told the price would be around $30 when we arrived late in the evening.
Clean and nice camping ground close to the beach. Friendly staff. Family bathrooms and a baby bath available. Huge kitchen, well equipped. However, too pricey. Wifi not included.
holidaymad from Solihull
Very basic facilities. Showers and loos are in portacabins. Clean though and soap has been added.
Rather a souless site with few trees. Usual 10 ten park prices, which is expensive for what you get here.
A lovely camping site near the ocean, with attractive pitches. Properly equipped and well managed. Recommended.
Friendly helpful welcome. Clean modern facilities. Actual sea view from the powered site. Advice on donaldos for dinner was spot on. Do go there. Thanks for the wonderful laundry experience. All in all a great stop over. One of the best on the coast.
Beautiful/clean holiday park. Had all we needed, nothing to complain and nothing to highlight.
Clean and loaded with facilities - well equipped kitchens, lounge rooms. Helpful staff.
Awesome views, value for your dollar, well appointed and excellent customer service. What more can you stay. Highly recommend to all.
We stayed at this campsite 2 years ago when we last visited New Zealand. Excellent spacious campsite with plenty of facilities. This time we stayed we had a mechanical problem with the engine on the motor home. The owners of the site lent us their tool box and gave us various nuts and bolts to fix the problem.
Nigel & Annie Dale
$40 per 2 adults, free showers. Nice location opposite beach. Facilities disappointing; toilets ok but small & no hand dryer or paper towels, shower block only ok & was cold as no heating. Not up to other Top 10 sites we've visited
Showers need upgrading, no towels or dryers in toilets. Manager not very frienldy and manager lacks people skills - very poor.
Steve and Therese Dunne
All top standard, showers, kitchens, TV, internet, top of the range for prices but value for money.
Clean and tidy, but the camping ground is not particularly sheltered from the sea breezes. Quiet location and the beach is just across the road.
Very nice campervan site. Lady at reception could not have been more helpful. Lovely walk to beach. Facilities very good. Very clean place
great location and nice clean camp facilities good. long hot showers in clean cubicles. we had heavy rain here be careful if your on grass site as the drainage wasn't that good and there was lots of standing water
Camp was small. Had only one Ablution block open but was busy so blocks were dirty. The only showers open where ones in the family rooms, I don't want to shower in the same cubical as everyone goes toilet. No hand dryers in blocks. Only good thing was great location.
Next to the beach!! Perfect location, less spacious sites, perfect kitchen and clean toilets.
David & Sue Lokkerbol
Perfectly acceptable, cabins not quite so polished as best in class.
Very well maintained and with grassy pitches. Plenty of facilities, lovely position and close to the beach.
Very friendly, helpful staff and nice quiet stay. The kitchen cabin was great value.
Michael & Janet
Locations varied from very quiet (Westport) to noisy - traffic and railway at Kaikoura. All clean washing facilities, some new, some in need of refurbishing.
Quiet and close to the beach.
perfectly acceptable site, reasonably priced, - and the hard standing is very useful in wet weather !
Nice location, beautiful sunset on the beach, price was OK.
Dirty, expensive, terrible staff.
Poor site layout. Vans far too close together - felt like a carpark. Kitchen great but urinals and toilets mixed up with showers - terrible smells urgh! Top10 without IAC internet?
Too expensive for what you get.
Chris & Anne Pearson
Stayed in cabin. Smelly! And a long way from toilets and showers.
Steve & Pearl Baker
Away from everything but very tidy and the beach is near and very nice.
Excellent view, Tasman Sea very close, clean facilities.
Good facilities, right to the beach, but we had real awlful weather there, so we could not use the beach.
Clean and tidy kitchen and cabin but poor cooker, but good kitchen ware like pots, cups....
No atmosphere, parking on asphalt.
Top 10 seldom disappointed. Also Te Anau, Christchurch.
No privacy, no space. Could be much improved with'sections' divided by greenery. Water pressure quite low.
Expensive, busy and no better facilities than lesser sites. Lovely weather.
The real bad camping of all, what a trash. Not worth the stay. Its old and rotten.
Staff in office did not tell us about membership. Grounds neat and tidy, motel room good.
Clean with large sites. Modern, plentiful amenities.
Clean and tidy, well serviced. No soap in toilets, shower floors very slippery, staff friendly and helpful.
Very helpful staff with lots of information.
Very nice location with good facilities. Would recommend.
Chris el capitan
Disappointing considering this is a top 10 site - needs a make over. Lounge looked like student digs.
Good because the sea is near.

Seemed tidy and well looked after. A nice welcome as well.
Nice and clean (family bathroom!). Pity that overfull glass container wasn't emptied.
Excellent facilities, spacious site near seal colony. Helpful & friendly staff. Enjoyed greenery & flowers.
Very friendly, clean camp suite. Warden very helpful. Not enough toilets though.
Well maintained grounds, near the airport.
We have stayed in several different Top 10's in N.Z and always find them to be of a high standard.
Helen and Hans Walser
Toilet brushes are missing. Top 10 campsites are generally excellent.
Well equipped. Comfy.
Kevin and Teresa
Quiet seaside location and good facilities.
No soap or hand drying facilities in the toilet.
Very nice, only a few metres to the beach, very spacious and good standard facilities.
Really nice at the ocean and very clean facilities.
Very clean campground.
Wonderful location and very spacious sites.
Good camping area.
The camping has many space and it's quiet camping.
Very good clean facilities.
We arrived late but phoned ahead and were kindly made welcome even though we arrived 1 1/2 hours late and office was closed. Great.
