We saw Albatross, many other birds, seals, sea lions, penguins. A perfect day with enthusiastic guides.
My best day in New Zealand. Great value if you value experiencing rare wildlife and amazing scenery. Sea lions posing on the beach a few metres away, yellow eyed penguins returning from the sea, walking up steep hills and nesting in the forest, fur seal pups and mothers lying on the rocks, stray pups calling out for their absent mothers and albatross flying above. I am still smiling.
Definitely not worth paying NZ105 for this trip where you can see first seal, sea lion and penguins at other beaches (free access).
Interesting tour of Otago Peninsula with many animals but a little too expensive.
$210 for two people for six hours. 30mins late for departure, no french documents for the animals, no driver for the 4x wheel drives. 2 groups, the first one could see the sealions awake, not the second.
We booked the" full option tour" Pick up at I site Dunedin. We spotted fur seals, sea- lions, yellow eyed, and blue penquins, and albatross. Very good organisation and small groups.

Very instructive and fascinating. The guide has a very good and large knowledge of the Peninsula wildlife. We get close to sea lions, seals ans Penguins. The scenery by mini-bus (small groups) is also part of the trip. Worth it. Pick up at your accommodation.
Super knowledge on part of the guide. Saw everything advertised by company. Saw a lot, learned a lot and good $$ value.
Very interesting to see the conservation programme at work! Very informative, great enthusiastic guides.
Perfectly organised, informative and entertaining, very complete programme.
Otago Peninsula Royal Albatross and Penguin Tour. Excellent tour, lots of information and time to spot wildlife.
Awesome guided tours to penguins and seals and sea lions. Guide was very well on tour and made an interesting tour, despite the very rainy and windy winter. Thumbs up!

Delivered what they promised and more.
Great tour, takes you onto a private beach where there are sea lions, seals and penguins. The guide is extremely knowledgable about local wild life. Highly recommend.
Booked a tour with Elm over a year in advance. Was left waiting without communication at iCenter downtown Dunedin. These are irresponsible people running the tours, which took off 1 1/2 hours prior to the time on our confirmation. Never even made an effort to email or phone. They have a great product to view, but with this kind of irresponsiblity, surely someone will provide competent tours and thus end their behavior.
Fantastic! Best wildlife trip we did in New Zealand. Very informative and friendly guides, great bus pick up service from town, and amazing viewing of all the animals. Albatross, blue and yellow eyed penguins, sea lions AND fur seals. The beach conservation area that the company maintain and add to is beautiful and they are really creating a haven for these creatures. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks so much!
Interesting tour with knowledgable and helpful guide.
A well presented tour of wild life in it's natural state on the Dunedin Peninsula. We loved the biggr penguis there
To the middle of nature with small groups. Seen seals and penguins.
Really good and interesting tour. We saw the Yellow-Eyed Penguins from a very close distance and the Sealions while fighting - really impressive. Our guide, Shaun, had a very high knowledge and told us a lot.
We thoroughly loved this tour - went to the Albatross Centre & saw a couple of birds flying & then saw yellow eyed penguins, sea lions & fur seals. Staff were very friendly & informative.
Outstanding wildlife tour, get as close as possible without worrying the animals, good service.

We seen all the wildlife which was advertised. Josh, out guide was informative and professional. We missed out on a perfect opportunity to see the sea lions due to maybe misjudgement of our guide. Tour was from 3:30 - 9:30pm and no opportunity for food. For the price, a bagged lunch should have been included.
Excellent trip to see albatross, birds, penquins, seals and furseals. Great hiking and visits to places not available to the general public. Fantastic natural history knowledge by our guides. A little too much environmental politics thrown in, but interesting to hear the perspective.
Great tour, amazing views, guides are very good in giving information and you get really close to the animals. This is in Dunedin (Otago Peninsula).
We had a great tour on the Otago Peninsula.Good views of birdlife and furseals. And of course a good place to watch the yelloweyedpinguin.Good transport and a very kind guide.
Highlight of our trip! Sean and Sean could not have been more knowledgeable or passionate about the wildlife and making sure we had an enjoyable experience. We were a small group and so lucky! We saw at least a dozen penguin - some only a few feet away. Huge sea lions. Many fur seals and pups, four majestic teenage albatross flying, lots of shore birds. Would go back in a second and we recommend to everyone. Thank you Elm Wildlife for being there to protect and inform about these marvelous creatures. Keep up the good work!
good price, small group, good guide, very close to wildlife
brilliant day out with Elm Wildlife Tour, fantastic animal life and knowledgeable guides
I went on the tour which included a boat trip and thought the trip was amazing. On the boat trip we saw a pod of Hectars Dolphins, Fur seals and one sealion as well as various seabirds. The tour then took us to a great sealion colony which you see from above and then a beach where you can watch Yellow-eyed penguins come in for the night. The Penguins didn't seem that worried by us and walked by quite close. We saw about six come in out of the water and got to see some others standing around with their chicks.
Very good guides. Maybe stayed too long at the albatrosses. These bird watching guides know alot.
Really enjoyed seeing the wildlife so close up. The landscape was beautiful and animals were great. The only drawback was that the tour guides were a bit odd.
Like the other people say, this tour has a fair amount of driving, but I think it shows the lengths these people go for the customer. We visited crossed a private farm to see more seals than you could poke a stick at while the Yellow Eyed Penguins are special creatures. I was really impressed with conservation efforts between the operator and farmer. Makes for a great story.
Amazing tour. I never imagined how close we would be to the seals and penguins. The scenery was so beutiful to.
We got up very close to seals, yellow eyed penguins and sea lion. We also saw the albatrosses and lots of other birds. It was good to join the tour at the Dunedin Centre as we found out alot from the guide on the way to the peninsular.
An amazing trip. We saw albatross flying over our heads, fur seals 3 metres below us, yellow eyed penguins 2 metres away and sea lions almost too close for comfort.
A rather wet afternoon and evening but we still saw a wealth of wildlife - spoonbills, terns, shags, fleeting glimpse of an albatross and storm petrel as well as seals, seal lions and penguins. The tour does include lots of driving round and the guide did taunt the seals and penguins into action which I wasn't keen on. However, generally good value and an enjoyable experience.
I went on the wild tour in Dunedin and it was excellent. Saw yellow eyed penguins, albatross and had plenty of time there.
Amazing experience, very informative - worth every penny.
Really good tour at a reasonable price. 5 -6 hours seeing Penguins, Sealions, Seals and Albatross.
A lot of driving around. But very informative.
A highlight. Wonderful.
Maybe a little expensive but very knowledgeable guides.
