Awesome place for the kids. Pool was clean. Staff were really great. Can easily walk to cafes and restaurants. On a clear day, easy walk to see mount Taranaki. Highly recommend.

This place is fabulous!! One of our top 3 NZ campsites and we have been to a lot!! So clean and well maintained with amazing facilities. Wonderful free hot showers and a super kitchen/dining area that even had a tea pot!! Woo hoo!! Many pitches are lined with tall hedges for privacy but there are also huge spacious ones for big families to camp together. Very friendly owners and child and pet friendly too! We were supposed to be passing through but stayed another day it was so lovely.

Lovely clean caravan park. Powered motor home sites very spacious and private with hedges between vans. And the showers are the best we have had so far.

Very good place to stay for hiking at Mt Taranaki. Quiet, clean facilities, kitchen well equipped. There's even a small swimming pool. Powered sites 21 $ pp and with hedges. The unpowered sites are on open space.

Clean facilities. There’s even an indoor swimming pool if you are interested. Place gets a 9/10 because while the powered sites are nicely separated by hedges the space for the tents and unpowered campervans are crammed into a turn on the road on a grassy flat. Otherwise clean and everything you would expect at a holiday park.

Awesome place to stay! Very clean facilities and the owners John & Evander are super helpful. Lovely atmosphere, nice setting with surrounding bush (trout fishing and nature walk) and close to town. Stayed for 2 nights, had booked a standard cabin but got upgraded the second night to a fully self-contained tourist flat because our baby daughter got sick. Felt so well looked after, can only recommend the place! It's currently undergoing renovations - we'll be back to check out the pool!

Stayed there for 2 nights, because it's quite close to Mount Taranaki. Hot shower is included and the facilities were clean. $19 per night for 1 person in a tent was okay for what you're getting for it. Wifi costs extra. Privacy shield between the places.

OK site, spaces a bit cramped. A pleasant, but not short, walk into town (15 minutes plus) - though not much to eat when you get there in the evening!

Very nice and welcoming reception, very helpful and friendly.
Sites ok with little hedges for some privacy, that is a nice attempt. However, quite a number of rather run down permanent (??) campers seem to be there, giving a slightly run down impression. Amenities ok.

Lady in office was nice and friendly but facilities in desperate need of a good makeover. Only stayed one night. Didn't look clean at all to the point that we couldn't have a shower.
