Overpriced $56 for a powered site for 2 people. Have stayed in better for $36. Facilities were not that clean and the kitchen was taken over by people from the self contained cabins ?
No wonder there were only 3 other campers here for the night.
Very clean and well maintained. Security guard at night. Some of the showers had issues maintaining temperature.
24 hours open very big but enough space for everything more than 10 showers, kitchen all the night and free wifi, campervan without electricity 21 dollars per person, and it is inside the city!
The most expensive camping I've stayed in 40 days. 49 nzd for a tent site.
I checked in without booking, and I had to make a one-day chargeback, but I was denied.
Could only do the chargeback 24 hours before check-in.
In the kitchen there are no pots, dishes, etc.
There are no rules for noise. 2am there were people partying in one of the rooms.
I do not recommend this camping to anyone.
Great service and facilities. Just note there are no pots or pans or utensils in the shared kitchen, you need to provide your own.
One of the best campsites for facilities we stayed in New Zealand. The site we had for our motorhome was very open, however we were lucky to be here off peak so that didn’t affect us so much. The staff and other reviews mentioned a 5 minute drive into Napier city centre; it is also a very easy 20 - 30 minute walk. The restaurant onsite was open and served what looked like pub meals. I would imagine in peak time this place would pack you in like sardines however we lucked out and we had a lot of space and the campsite was relatively quiet. Also easy to get the local wineries via bikes which they hire on site.

We usually do unpowered or powered sites while traveling around NZ, but decided to opt for a kitchen cabin this time. Arrived late but the staff were really friendly. 5 mins drive to Napier centre, clean facilities and nice room. 24hour reception area, and large communal kitchen and outdoor area. However, some points off as the wifi was not working at all, even though it was free, and the tv didn't work either. Turned on the bedroom lights which blew out seconds later too. I did visit reception to see what was going on, but was told that work is being done in the area we had rented, so everyone was having issues. There was nothing she could do about it till the manager came in the morning. Tried at half 9 the next morning but still didn't work. Was woken up at 6.30am as the walls are thin and could hear people walking around and making brekkie in the next room. The pool is lukewarm, and didn't end up using it in the end. And in my opinion, it was very overpriced.
One of the most expensive places we stayed, well maintained and clean facilities, plenty for the kids to keep amused, lost 1 point for pricing.
Really nice site. Pleasant, clean and tidy. Toilets and showers clean (free). Stayed one night and this was a nice place. Lots of places nearby for take-out supper.
Stayed here heaps and they just keep raising the bar. Heated pool clean smart kitchens BBQ's, play ground bouncy castle, bike service station, the works. Only reason it's not a ten was they didn't spray the grass for Onehunga (prickles) so you couldn't walk barefoot in the grass.
Not a big deal.
Worth every penny. Immaculate facilities; lovely grounds and helpful staff. It would be a wonderful place for families as there are extensive play areas plus a pool. We are here in October so it is fairly empty but the sites are spacious, so even in high season it would comfortable.
We are in a camper van so I can't comment on units but as the grounds, washrooms etc are all beautifully maintained, I am sure they are too.
Loved this camp site. Plenty of room and everything worked as it should.
Very nice park, especially suited to large groups & families, the caravan sites were of a good size, facilities of a very good standard, and the crew all helpful and friendly. Handy (though not really close) to the city centre or beach front, however prices reflect that. The fact WIFI was intermittent the only gripe.
All that it was advertised to be - great staff, stunning grounds, quiet at night and close to town. Highly recommended - fantastic for family - safe with lots to do. We would definitely stay again as this is the best for many kilometres around.
Save up to 70% on campsite fees! Support conservation and experience the natural beauty of NZ. 78 Department of Conservation campsites, one convenient pass.
We stayed here on a powered site over NYE, great facilities - TV Room, games room, restaurant, bar, sports playground, carts, heated pool, all the normal Top Ten style stuff plus a walk-in fridge where you hire a locked box for $1.50, which fridge-less us appreciated.
When we went it seemed pretty full maybe close to 100% in cabins, flats etc and 75% on camping. Kids everywhere and a few big noisy groups talking noisily until late. Great with kids but living hell if you haven't got any.
On our trip we stayed almost exclusively at Top Tens so we didn't find Kennedy Park expensive in comparison but with most of the facilities being more appreciated by kids I wouldn't go if I wasn't with kids.
stayed one night. big park with lots of room and clean, but TOO EXPENSIVE - $48 for 2 people and according to the office staff the price is more in summer..
The park was great and nice. Heated pool bounce pillow. The only downside was that it was expensive. We paided $48 two people power site. It's not over pricds as the facilities are clean just we have had the same experience elsewhere for less money.
Too Expensive.. Great Staff and facilitys Pools Jumping Pillow exercise machines. Stayed in a Ensuite Studio which we found very modern and well equiped.
Terrible service! The staff double booked our room and were going to charge the same rates for a substandard replacement! I'd be in and out of the office for 2 days trying to discuss what had happened but the lady behind the counter didn't want to know! Too quick to reply which tells me she had no interest in our concerns, just brushed me off! 'At least it's a villa' is what the receptionist said with a bad attitude! Trust me lady, you aren't doing us a favor! It wasn't an issue for the staff or the manager that our holiday was disrupted, and no concern for them to lose $2300 that we will happily take elsewhere! Booking In advance has no guarantee that you'll keep your room. We are leaving Kennedy Park 9 days early, thanks to them! So terribly disappointed the way it was handled, and worst of all. .. They don't care! We'll never return here and will happily pass on our bad experience with family and friends!
Stayed 1 night. Was a nice place but way too expensive!
Very well equipped, located in the centre, but too expensive.
Typical Top 10 site. Clean well maintained with good facilities. Very quiet dispite being in the middle of the suburbs. Very large site which I can imagine gets hectic in high season. Good but a little soulless.
1st class campsite on a par with best in Europe, but price reflects this. We visited in April which was end of season so campsite had low occupancy. All facilities clean neat and tidy. Only gripe was on site cafe closed at 9pm with last meals at 8:30 but this maybe because it was out of season. In a quiet respectable area beside a nice park and short drive to city centre.
Good site with good clean facilities. Looks a bit like a car park in parts, but sites are more than adequate. Very nice swimming pool and sunbathing area. Why do al these sites have dump stations with a raised lip - they should be below ground level to make dumping easy. The best are at creekside Queenstown - a grating flush to the road - no need for any hose - dump is done much quicker without any problems.
Overpriced, $50 for up to two people, same services as other Top10 holiday parks, kitchen area locked after 9pm - code provided to open it did not work.
Superb campsite, well located and excellent amenities. Staff were very helpful and arranged several trips for us. Great powered sites.
Joan and Colin Price
Clean and well organised. Located a fair distance from the down town area (25 min walk one way) or any other restaurants.
Jim and JoAnn Harllee

Friendly, clean and easy to find.
Spot ok, facilities superb.
A great camp, excellent facilities, nice pitches, helpful staff. Ideal for Art Deco weekend.
Good location. Good and clean toilets and showers. Plenty of room around each pitch.
Excellent facilities and staff.

Reasonable, very nice service.
Good location very near town. Pool out of use, facilties very clean.
Near the city and Cape Kidnappers.
Top equipment, fantastic bathing facilities.
Great bathroom and really clean!!!
Great showers but had to queue even though the site was not full. Napier very interesting though long walk into town
Christian & Julia
Nice, friendly, clean and close to the city centre.
Big but friendly, very good facilities.
Very good camping sites. Clean and enough toilets and showers. Excellent opportunity to do laundry.
Wonderful facilities but close to a main road so could be noisy if you got the wrong site - we did not and it was fab.
Second best campsite we booked.
Well equipped but badly organised, The site we got was occupied by offices, uninterested staff.
Bernhard & Brigitte Gosch
Very clean ammenities, secure places, price is okay, sometimes too small a number of showers/toilets.
These are beautiful grounds, the facilities were immaculate and there is so much to do. The hosts were friendly and it was a great place to stay.
a reasonably OK site, if a bit crowded, but far too expensive in comparison with Top 10 parks elsewhere
Very clean site, all facilities.
A really lovely family holiday park and campground. We stayed here as a base for enjoying the anual Art Deco weekend (excellent!). Super facilities for children. We stayed in a studio unit. Was well equipped but very small. If you can, upgreade to the newer family suite untis! Our in-laws stayed in one (one double bedroom and one double bunk). Was new and really spacious and beautiful. Worth the extra, especially for costumes.
Packed in like sardines. Expensive, prison style perimeter fence, unfriendly staff!
Friendly staff, excellent facilities, could be crowded.
Very friendly man at reception and very helpful. Excellent facilities. Surprisingly quiet for town location. May be very different in school holidays as is a family park and we were out of season.

Good information, nice people, everything ok.
An excellent 'resort' site. Close to Napier - but not too close! Facilities were clean and modern - helpful staff.
Toilets and sanitary +++
Plenty of activities for kids, has everything for kids to do, lots of room for vans and accommodation for groups.
Good facilities but very noisy when we stayed and also expensive
Motel unit/clean and tidy hardy location.
not as cool. good facilities, good price $13!
Very well equipped clean site (napier) location within reach of small shops.
Excellent, clean & tidy.
Clean, nice facilities, friendly people, would go again. Good documentations for area and attractions.
What a shame we only stayed one night!!! I could have stayed a week. Excellent place to go with kids! Fantastic playground, swimming pool to cool off at the end of the day, spacious sites and everything spotless. No doubt we will be back.
All the usual facilities.
All the usual facilities but only had $19 internet cards and computers didn't allow you to upload photos or use Skype.
Friendly, clean, good facilities, internet access.
What a fantastic park, we had the time of our lives. Will be back many times. Thank you to the friendly staff. Jumping pillow, pedal cars and lots more for the children to enjoy! The Springboks winning the Aussies on the big screen in the TV room made the experience even better!!
