Stayed for three nights, friendly welcoming staff, very clean, the children enjoyed the pools, playing in the river and playground. Highly recommend for families as there was a safe feeling and lots of happy children running around enjoying their time.

We ended up spending two nights here due to problems with out campervan. Enjoyed our stay very much. Had a site next to the river. Showers are good, cost $2 for 8 minutes. We didn't use the pool and hot tubs, but they looked very nice.

This is the most beautiful site we’ve had on our month long holiday through the North Island, with the bush outlook and crystal clear stream, great for a cool dip! The pools where great for our little boy who dislikes cold water. However, a lot of the facilities and pools are still dated, but adequate and clean. We were certainly glad we stopped here though and would come back!

Disappointed with the pools not hot. WiFi terrible. Pricy for what you get. More than the normal add on costs.
Pools quite a distance from the camp ground so would get quite cold.

Tranquil bush setting by bubbling brook. Private hot pool not be missed
When we got a wheel bogged in a soft spot in the dark, Management came to the rescue without hesitation.

Nice hot pool area, but uninterested management. Nice powered site beside the small river. Run down facilities, WIFI available for $2. Hot water at the men's showers didn't work.

We were looking for peace and quiet, and we found both. This place is a little piece of PARADISE! We had our campervan parked on well-manicured lawns and right next to a most beautiful babbling stream which meanders through the whole property. The sights and sounds were just lovely. We enjoyed the well-marked walks in the rain forest, and just sitting by the stream and reading. We spent a lot of time in the thermal pools, which were emptied and cleaned each day. The facilities around the pools - bathrooms, change rooms and barbecues were modern and clean. Thank you to the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, happy to stop and have a conversation but at the same time, busy maintaining and improving the facilities. I think the bathroom facilities are new - they are modern, clean, airy and spacious. There was lots of room between us and other campers. The whole facility was large and well-planned and spread out. We planned to stay one night and instead stayed 5 (out of our 14 day holiday) - we couldn't find a reason to leave.

Nice, clean, peaceful holiday park with the added bonus of 3 hot spring pools. The park is set within the bush so you can go for a walk or run. A river runs through the park. The park has free wifi and decent shower and toilet blocks with a communal kitchen and laundry, although the washing machines are quite dated. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spot, parked our motorhome right by the stream, native bush surrounding, took dogs for a swim down by the many water holes, then enjoyed the heated pools above the campsite.
