Kids enjoyed the pools and playground, and our dogs loved the bush walks and stream running through the campground. Showers weren’t great, considering they cost extra. Staff were really friendly.
Nice friendly new owners as of dec 20.
Bit expensive $20 p/p p/n unpowered camp site, plus an extra $2 for a 6 minute hot shower, and had to vacate by 10 am like a motel, price includes access to pools tho, nice and clean, lots of bush walks around and quiet surroundings.
Beautiful spot, camping has a river going through. Very nice hot pools but I wouldn't stay there more than one night, facilities very dated, they charge you for showers no Internet, no dump station, so basically you are paying $24 dollars per person just for power. Lovely lady at the reception.
Clean but a bit old facilities. You can use the thermal Pool during the stay without extra costs. Free WiFi, friendliy Staff. Shower costs 2$. With 22$ pp pn with CV and using of electricity a bit expensive.
Nice and clean. friendly staff. great facilities

Stayed for three nights, friendly welcoming staff, very clean, the children enjoyed the pools, playing in the river and playground. Highly recommend for families as there was a safe feeling and lots of happy children running around enjoying their time.
We ended up spending two nights here due to problems with out campervan. Enjoyed our stay very much. Had a site next to the river. Showers are good, cost $2 for 8 minutes. We didn't use the pool and hot tubs, but they looked very nice.
Really nice little place in a cool area. Pools were really nice and whole campsite was well kept
This is the most beautiful site we’ve had on our month long holiday through the North Island, with the bush outlook and crystal clear stream, great for a cool dip! The pools where great for our little boy who dislikes cold water. However, a lot of the facilities and pools are still dated, but adequate and clean. We were certainly glad we stopped here though and would come back!
Disappointed with the pools not hot. WiFi terrible. Pricy for what you get. More than the normal add on costs.
Pools quite a distance from the camp ground so would get quite cold.
Tranquil bush setting by bubbling brook. Private hot pool not be missed
When we got a wheel bogged in a soft spot in the dark, Management came to the rescue without hesitation.
Nice place in combination with a lange thermal swimmingpool area and barbecue facilities (5 min walk), very good and clean facilities although lounge was under reconstruction
Nice hot pool area, but uninterested management. Nice powered site beside the small river. Run down facilities, WIFI available for $2. Hot water at the men's showers didn't work.

We were looking for peace and quiet, and we found both. This place is a little piece of PARADISE! We had our campervan parked on well-manicured lawns and right next to a most beautiful babbling stream which meanders through the whole property. The sights and sounds were just lovely. We enjoyed the well-marked walks in the rain forest, and just sitting by the stream and reading. We spent a lot of time in the thermal pools, which were emptied and cleaned each day. The facilities around the pools - bathrooms, change rooms and barbecues were modern and clean. Thank you to the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, happy to stop and have a conversation but at the same time, busy maintaining and improving the facilities. I think the bathroom facilities are new - they are modern, clean, airy and spacious. There was lots of room between us and other campers. The whole facility was large and well-planned and spread out. We planned to stay one night and instead stayed 5 (out of our 14 day holiday) - we couldn't find a reason to leave.
Nice, clean, peaceful holiday park with the added bonus of 3 hot spring pools. The park is set within the bush so you can go for a walk or run. A river runs through the park. The park has free wifi and decent shower and toilet blocks with a communal kitchen and laundry, although the washing machines are quite dated. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful spot, parked our motorhome right by the stream, native bush surrounding, took dogs for a swim down by the many water holes, then enjoyed the heated pools above the campsite.

We stayed there for 2 nights in a motel unit. The new owners have only been there for a short time but have already made many changes to a previously run-down camp site. The grounds are immaculate and the facilities are very clean. It is a real retreat with several bush walks and a number of really quiet spots. The temp of the pools are perfect and because the pool is being replenished constantly there is no chlorine smell when you get out. The owners are really friendly and helpful. We would like to return again and I know that there will be many more improvements to come. A perfect place for families.
Excellent place to go with the family or a few families. New Owners are great- have already made big changes in the month since they owned it. new linen, new carpet, cut down trees to let in more light.
Beautiful pools, great bush walks, tyre swing into the river a must. glow worms at night are cool and a free treat for the kids.
We stayed in the house that can sleep 12 - this make for a resonsable price and the pools are included.
I'd agree with the previous statement. Dated but clean. Everything worked. The staff were very friendly.

It is OK to stay for a night. Sanitary is old, showers and toilets are without working locks.
The place is looking very tired and run down and half the people staying there appear to live there on a full time basis. Despite this it is a quite and small sight and there are some nice pitches by the river. The kids loved the hot pools which are included in the stay.
