Our third visit. Absolutely wonderful. Had the camp to ourselves. Thankyou Janine and John. See you in January!

Janine our hostess at the pouto point marine hall is a very friendly, informative lady. Thank you from John, Annie and Stue for a great 2 nights. Great facilities, and John and I enjoyed the new queen bed. Beautiful location with great views and very tranquil.

We stayed two nights in this wonderfull place. Peaceful, close to the beach, very nice sea view from the campground. A nice 7km-walk to the lighthouse by the beach. Nice place for fishing. Kitchen (with all utensils you might need), a big living room with tv, books, games..Flush toilets, showers($), laundry ($). Everything is very clean. Friendly staff. We paid $14/night for two people with a tent. Around 25kms of gravel road to get to the campground but you will not be disappointed!

Hi, I have been to the Pouto Point Camp 3 times now and every time I have been made welcome. The people who visit this camp are people with families looking to further their knowledge about this great little country. There is so much to do here, fish to catch, walks, swim and if you have a 4wd or quad the beach and dunes have lots of wrecks to see. I will be back because I haven't seen it all yet. Thanks for having me. Murray
