Highly recommend beautiful place to stay especially with a huge group like we had. Lisa and her partner (managers) went out of their way to make my dads 50th and our stay at the holiday park memorable, fun and relaxing. Quiet and safe and clean. We had heaps of noisey kids and sometimes adults and we had no issue. Has a park and pool and sports gear to hire. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY for groups big or small. The only downside id have to say was the staring neighbour in the motor homes (who stays and works there) and the fact you HAVE to be vaccinated. Id love unvaxxed to enjoy that place as we did.
Thank you Lisa for the awesome stay !

Excellent price for facilities. $32 for 2 people & a dog on unpowered site. Free hot showers! Clean and Tidy!
Recieved a warm welcome on check in. Greeted by camp cat Nato aswell. Loved the river, ducks and birdlife around the grounds.
Would definitely stay again. Thankyou

Nice park right by river perfect for our little family. Very friendly and helpful managers. Facilities a bit older but clean and tidy and seemed like a massive amount of toilets and showers for campground size. Highly recommended enjoyed our stay here.

We where very sceptical booking here as it was a drive out of Paihia.
Turned out to be a great spot between Paihia and Kerikeri. The hospitality was amazing and we were free to enjoy the camp grounds and the river.
Would love to see some updates done to the bathrooms and kitchen though, but otherwise it was an great experience staying with Bay of Islands Holiday park.

Stayed for one night, very quiet while we were there and had a pitch by the river. Cooking facilities not very good with only individual hobs which took ages to work, it was a bit dirty in places and showers, kitchens need a bit of updating. The hosts were very nice and I don’t’ know how they manage on their own, as things are beginning to show. We hired a couple of canoe’s and a lovely trip up the river to see the waterfall.

Great campground. Good tent sites, but you should avoid pitching under the eucalyptus trees if it's windy - they have a penchant for dropping limbs! Hot showers were free and a complimentary wife allowance of 1gB a day is provided. Was unable to log in from my tent, and had to walk to the kitchen to do this. Only downside is there's a TV in the kitchen which some campers insist on turning on. Surprised it hasn't been sabotaged!

Fantastic facilities , lots of very clean toilets and showers, free (limited amount) WiFi and very friendly staff who helped us when we arrived after hours. 5 mins drive from haruru falls, the beach, Whaitengi treaty grounds etc. Was truly lovely. Powered site about $40 for two.

What a wonderful place! We will be back in summer and will bring more family next time!
We had the two room cabin and it was beautiful, better than many hotel rooms I have stayed at! Next time we will try camping, the camp facilities look lovely and well maintained.
The property is only a few minutes drive to towns and all amenities but the river running alongside the whole camp is so calming and beautiful that I would happily just sit and enjoy it all day.
We are keen to try the Pizza Oven when we come again, if I had of known it was here I would have brought more supplies!
Don't miss this place, it's calming and beautiful! Everything you want in a holiday without the major price tag!

Large nice camp ground with some cabins. Huge kitchen and many free showers/toilets, lounge with TV and pool billiard, kids playground, small pool. The camp is directly located at the river. Watch your children! And after sunset millions of mosquitos. Free choice of our pitch. Most pitches are under big trees with picnic tables. "Far away" from Paihia. Have to move the camper van to get to town (7.5km).

Really nice place next to a river. Very green and lots of birds. Specious campsites and a lot of shade from the trees. You can use a kitchen but bring your own pots and pans. It's a very relaxed place and they let us pick our own spot. We paid $32 for a tent and 2 people. Showers are free. A bit old but ok, clean and plenty of them. It's about 6 km from Paihia.
