A great day! Catriona was an excellent guide, taking us to wineries and various foodie stops in Hawkes Bay to sample local produce including cheeses, olives, honey and chocolate. The day was well organised and meant that we could see and experience much much more than we would have independently. Very good value and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this anyone with an interest in food and wine.

"Malo le fa'auli" Catriona, "malo foi le tapua'i", from the 10 Polynesian Samoans of Wellington. Rounded up the troupes to describe the tour- "fun, informative, thumbs up,engaging, yummy,passionate,adventurous,wonderful-time-out, great experience,Orsome". Thank you Catriona, you provided us with a fantastic insight into what the region has to offer, leaving the best vineyard till last...yes the oohs and the aahs were endless. From start to finish, Catriona was professional in her approach, yet went with the flow with what we wanted. Lunch was great just enough to get us through with the variety of vinyards, and tastings she had in store for us.
All the best Catriona and fa'afetai lava.
As a suggestion, maybe a walk through the process from start to finish in making wine?
PS:The helicopter will be arriving shortly!...

A very enjoyable day with lots of diverse visits and tastings! The area has a wealth of treats for food and wine lovers or just anyone who wants to try something new. Catriona, who grew up in the here, has a wealth of knowledge of the area delivered with a lively humour and has great relationships with the businesses we visited, so its a chance to see the community from the inside. Professional yet friendly -- everything the name promises. Not to be missed if you are visiting Napier or Hawkes Bay!

Great day! Chocolate, honey, ice cream, cheese, wine, olives, coffee, food a beautiful scenic lookout and beer! Fantastic Value!

Catriona picked us up on time, we made two other stops at others hotels. She brought us out of the city and provided us with some local history of the area as we made our way to our first stop.

We were given a good amount of time to sample and take in each place, even having an olive pit spitting contest to see how we ranked against the world record. I think everyone found something to buy. I was able to get gifts for a bunch of people back home.

If someone's looking for a great way to get the flavour of Hawke's Bay, I'd gladly recommend getting on this tour. Thanks again Catriona.

Catriona was a most excellent tour guide. She brought us to most amazing places including the Te Mata peak, St. Andrews lime shop, wineries, Waimarama beach, olive and honey tastings. She's very pleasant and eager to please. She picked us up at our B&B in the am, and drove us back in the late afternoon. We definitively recommend the Friendly Kiwi Tours.
