Very nice setting and great for kids. The food was very expensive and took a long time, great staff at the pool counter.
Everything you could want, $32 a person and the option to leave and come back. Great location, good facilities, offer a steam room and sauna too.
Beautiful location. Great view. Downside is the price.
After hiking around Mt Cook during the day, we had a wonderful time relaxing in the springs. There are pools for kids as well as an adults only pool that stayed peaceful. They give you a wristband for the day and you can go back as many times as you like.
Three big pools, good price for the day and the mountains as a backdrop. I wished I was there while it was snowing.
Nice place to chill for one to two hours max. We only had basic entry so maybe could have spent longer. Nice, friendly staff, clean pools and facilities. $25 - maybe slightly overpriced.
Well worth the $25! Soaked in the hot water for almost two hours. Three different pools with increasing temperature. So relaxing and quiet. There is an adult pool.
No real views of the lake. Expensive for a hot bath!!
Very nice at night time. The setting is a beautiful scenery.
The hot spring was so relaxing and a ticket buys you access for the whole day (until they close at 9pm). They have free showers as well and it is great to do after the Mt John Walkway.
Nice features and cool layout, pools, kids playing zone, hot steam and sauna. Not thermal water tho. Was a nice relax after lot of travel. Got a promo code with a brochure.
Before I came here, I thought here is natural hot springs but it was not. It is just a hot pool and not 'hot' for Japanese people who expected 'onsen'.
Very nice setting of pools, views of lake, sauna and steam bath.

Good place, one pool just for adults, really good for relaxing. Cafe a bit expensive, $25 a bit expensive for 3 pools but really good view.
Nice, but not the best hot pools of New Zealand, I prefer Ngawha Hot Springs, cheaper and more friendly.
Thank You - to the thousands of travellers that have contributed to our Top Voted NZ Activities Map - it's free from Rankers.
Pools could have done with a vacum (not clean). To experience all attractions - pools, plunge pool, sauna and slide is overpriced in my opinion. Poor design, cannot see view while in the pools!! Amazing views if you stand up!!
Very nice location and a good standard of cleanliness and comfort. But prices are too expensive.

Nice hot pools by Lake Tekapo. Only went swimming but there are plenty of other activities- not as enjoyable if really busy depending on the season.
Not as expensive as you might think. Taking a dip in their pools after a cold swim in the lake is highly recommended,
Didn't visit any others so can't compare but we loved these. No charge for 2yrs and under but you have to have a swim nappy ($3). The price stated $20 per adult but we were charged $20 for 2 adults not sure if this was an offer or a mistake?! Can buy combined tickets with the ice rink but after a 3 hour walk the ice skating got forgotten very quickly! Water was lovely, powerful massage jets, everything was clean and our little one actually could put her head under the water as it didn't sting her eyes.
Useless hair dryer in the ladies, used the hand dryer instead!
We really loved these pools. Were managed about 3 hrs.
The pools are all salt water so you can put your head under and open your eyes safely. This made a big difference for us with kids who had a ball.
If only they had a Hydro slide I would give it a 10 out of 10.
Definitely recommend to all. Only gripe is that the lockers take a $2 coin and you can open it up to get any thing out like sunscreen or a towel with out payning another $2 coin to relock. We spent $6 on locker fee's for this. FIX THIS STAFF!
Just had a second visit here because we love it so much. Fantastic way to revive tired muscles after day skiing or to relax after day on the road. Views from pools across the lake to the mountains are stunning. The front desk was training a new recruit when we checked in and kept us waiting a long time. Could have been handled better.
Tekapo Springs responds:
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Fantastic to hear you found the Hot Pools relaxing with the stunning views. We are about to launch New Zealand's first Summer Tube ride this summer that will make Tubing a year round attraction at Alpine Springs. We have recently undergone a recruiting process taking on several new staff, sorry for the inconvenience of the delay at reception. This issue has been raised and more efficient procedures have been put in place to avoid this in the future. I look forward to your return to Lake Tekapo in the near future.
Great at sunset, 3 different temp pools high up with view of lake, other facilities available but pools about $15 a person - reasonable.
Tekapo Springs responds:
Thank you for your review of Alpine Springs. We ear excited to announce a new attraction coming this summer, a first in New Zealand. A Summer Tubing Park, it will run is in place of the Snow Tubing Park after the winter season has finished truly making Alpine Springs a year round destination. Thanks again for your response, we hope to see you again in the near future.

Peaceful, good for rainy day.
Tekapo Springs responds:
Thank you, very happy to hear you had a good time. would be great to have you back again as Alpine Springs continues to Develop.
Nice, quiet and a fantastic view. The perfect ending for a long day!
Nice and clean. Pools great, very relaxing.
Sauna without shower and relaxing room, people went into the cold pool without shower (absolutely unhygenic), even no cold shower in the shower room.
We preferred the Alpine Spings to the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools. They are smaller and not as commercial, for example no slides.
Fantastic setting close to the Lake.

Fantastic view over Lake Tekapo while relaxing in hot water - great!
Lovely Place, Have been twice now, after a days skiing. The Pools are exceptionally hot, however was well worth it.
The asthmosphere is lovley there - sitting in a pool watching the sun go down! Bliss!
Good Combo: Ice skating and Hot Pools.
nice and relaxing.
There should be an outside cold-water shower though.
Nice, but too simple for the price.
Lovely setting and views during both our day and evening trips to the hot water pools. Due to the time of year was very quiet so don't know how nice it would be when high season.
Hot springs pools outside, relaxing, peaceful and in a fantastic location. Our daughter (23months) loved the warm pools. Ice rink not open when we were there but looked good size.
Great outdoor ice rink - ice is regularly smoothed for a brilliant day out.
A little too hot and a little too expensive, but an overall fun experience.
Lovely facilities, Very hot!
Really nice to watch the sunset and way better than those crowded pools at Hamner Springs.
Very nice after a long day of driving! Nice pools and friendly staff. Well worth the money.
Nice relaxing in hot tubs. Atmosphere could be a little better.
