$20 for an adult is real great value for a cave like this. The tour takes about one hour and you see real cool stalagmites. Really nice guide. Also see Moa bones inside. Take the tour and get a great coffee afterwards (not included).

It was very interesting to get some general information about caves, stalactites and stalagmites. But it did not blow us away, although the guide was very nice. It was interesting to see some old Moa and Kiwi bones as well!

Far better than I expected. Guide was excellent, some improvement of the steps etc needed.

We weren't sure whether to do this and sat at the cafe next door debating it. In the end it was a case of 'Its only $15 each so lets just do it' and thank god we did. Very, very good tour, great formations and bones to look at and touch, friendly guide who knew his stuff and probably the best value you'll get for 15 bucks! DO IT, you will not regret it!

On the way to Takaka a beautiful cave system at a great price. Better caves than Waitomo although no glow worms.

We thought that it might be a bit crappy, but it was one of the best caves we have been in. Spectacular formations. The guide was very informative, personable, and welcoming. Brilliant experience. Lovely.

Beside the fact we were lucky getting a private tour the cave is worth visiting because of its beauty.

Only NZD 15 for a 45 minute guided tour through these very interesting caves. Would recommend for a rainy day but may look to Abel Tasman if weather is nice.

Fascinating place. Lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Not an activity for the unfit or the morbidly obese!

Liked these caves the best so far - more of an adventure going through. Had to climb a ladder to get out!
