$20 for an adult is real great value for a cave like this. The tour takes about one hour and you see real cool stalagmites. Really nice guide. Also see Moa bones inside. Take the tour and get a great coffee afterwards (not included).
Well presented, very informative guide.
Surprised this does not get more visitors. Beautiful subterranean display and enthusiastic guide.
$17 per person, 45 minute guided trip through the caves, this area was also a film set for The Hobbit, part three.
It was very interesting to get some general information about caves, stalactites and stalagmites. But it did not blow us away, although the guide was very nice. It was interesting to see some old Moa and Kiwi bones as well!
Nice place but too expensive.
Nice place, you can touch everything. Nice guide.
Very beautiful cave and also a great guide. It is not expensive and it is worth it to go there.
Far better than I expected. Guide was excellent, some improvement of the steps etc needed.
Amazing experience, excellent guide.
It's good to be able to touch all the rocks in the cave. Very good guide.

No one else on a tour, so ran one just for us, very informative and beautiful caves but all felt a little rushed. Little expensive but cafe good value.
Very cool hike for all ages. Very friendly staff. $15 per person.
We weren't sure whether to do this and sat at the cafe next door debating it. In the end it was a case of 'Its only $15 each so lets just do it' and thank god we did. Very, very good tour, great formations and bones to look at and touch, friendly guide who knew his stuff and probably the best value you'll get for 15 bucks! DO IT, you will not regret it!
On the way to Takaka a beautiful cave system at a great price. Better caves than Waitomo although no glow worms.
We thought that it might be a bit crappy, but it was one of the best caves we have been in. Spectacular formations. The guide was very informative, personable, and welcoming. Brilliant experience. Lovely.
Beside the fact we were lucky getting a private tour the cave is worth visiting because of its beauty.
Only NZD 15 for a 45 minute guided tour through these very interesting caves. Would recommend for a rainy day but may look to Abel Tasman if weather is nice.

Fascinating place. Lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Not an activity for the unfit or the morbidly obese!
Excellent operator. We were issued with safety hat and there is good lighting through the tour. Interesting explanations and history. Good facilities. We came away very impressed.
An excellent guided tour by Kerry. Informative and interesting.Fantastic cave. This was my fifth visit!!!
A really good cave to visit. Good commentary and very interesting.
Very nice experience, and quite special.
Really great. One hour tour gave perfect explanations, you could touch some stones and listen to the caves.
Liked these caves the best so far - more of an adventure going through. Had to climb a ladder to get out!
Mike was really friendly and helpful.
