Best museum I have been to in New Zealand. Didn't cost much to get in. Exhibits include
Beyond the Roaring Forties, The Worlds Fastest Indian. Victoriana, Tuatara. All well presented and displayed.

Saw the Tuatarium and the tuatara - unique and intriguing. Lucky to catch them moving.
Most interesting information about the islands south of New Zealand.
Interesting exhibits on Tuatara and Fastest Indian.
an interesting museum with good exhibits, giving information about Southland. Some art works too, but these are of moderate interest. The baby tuataras are worth seeing. In the entrance hall there are computers with internet access.

Remarkable building with so many interesting and various exhibits. Art gallery, fastest indian, maori artefacts, communications, antarctica and much more.
Free - very nicely done . Gives good idea of wildlife
For something free, it was good.
Boring.... The mouro bike is nice.
Maori exhibition was good. Otherwise it was not great. No fee to enter however, so OK.
Good for kids. Lots to see.
