If you break the price down, it really isn’t expensive. 2 short helicopter rides, a guided 3 hour hike on the ice, with all equipment/safety briefings necessary, and access to the thermal spa after... the glacier won’t be here for ever and I think it’s not bad value for money. It’s not expensive, just a lot of money.
We could not have chosen a better day. Not a single cloud in the sky, baking hot sunshine and the views were just breathtaking. I loved the hike, squeezing between the gaps in the ice and walking though ice-tunnels. Very accessible. So fantastic. And access to the thermal spa later that evening made this day even more memorable. A really perfect way to relax after a day exploring. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend it.

Staff were friendly and the guide okay. However, the groups were too big so that you end up waiting most of the time. It was also quite a lot of money.

Excellent trip. Commentary could have been better - could not hear much of it. Seating was a little cramped in the front seats. But overall a very good service, to be recommended. Expensive but competitive with other providers.

Another fabulous experience. We did the grand traverse & landed on Fox Glacier - sat very close to pilot! Fantastic close up of Mount Cook and Mt Tasman.

An unique experience though quite expensive. The scenic flight by helicopter was cool, but with approx 6 minutes also quite short. Hiking on the glacier with a guide was very nice.

Wonderful experience with snow landing. We were lucky with blue skies and each morning calm - flying excellent with close moves to mountaintop and glacier - could not be better - other than doing it again!!

Flew over the franz and landed, pilot didnt say a word! we felt like cattle been shuvd into a truck. so we changed companies and flew out of fox glacier the next day.

Price $240 per person. We got a $20 coupon so $220 per person for 30 minutes. It was perfect. Recommended highly a flight until 11.30am because afterwards it gets cloudy everyday.

Saw Franz & Fox glaciers as well as Mount Tasman. Mt Cook obscured by cloud but a great ride. Full 1/2 hour in the air.
