I had 2 friends over from Canada in January, we stayed 2 nights with Ian and Barbara. We decided to do the night walk in the forest, it was amazing to experience the forest coming to life at night. Ian was so knowledgeable, we loved his story telling, quite the character, so nice to be guided by someone so passionate about preserving the forest and the living things in it. A great time was had by all and definitely a highlight of our stay in the Bay of islands. Highly recommend this walk, will do the day walk next time.
Many thanks to Ian and Barbara.

This was a fantastic, personal experience with a very knowledgable, experienced guide. My friend and I took the half day tour the first time, and loved it so much that we took the night tour the very next day. It's a completely different trip through this beautiful rainforest! Must take a crack at this

We a family of 2 children (age 9 and 15) and two adults had a great daytrip with Ian. We went 18 kilometers - rather easy walk ibn the rain forest. During the walk Ian gave us a lot of information about trees, birds and NZ in general. The trip was a positive experience also for our son at 9 years - we before we started off afraid its was too far to walk for him. Barbara and Ian gave us excellent service. We can warmly recomend a rain forest trip with Barbara and Ian

Amazing, just amazing ! Last weekend, I joined the nightwalk guided by Ian Candy in the Puketi rainforest. This was a special Kiwi experience for me...Ian knows every little detail about the forest and the animals, who live there. It was a pleasure to hear him talking about this great natural place. I dont't want to miss this adventure.
