Northcote Point - Right underneath the harbour bridge, this is a really quaint wharf area. There are a couple of reserves to walk around as well as an old local pub for a drink, a nice old movie theatre too. The cruisy thing is that you can catch a ferry straight into downtown if you so desire.

Disappointing all around... Camp was hick and dirty... Kitchen smelt, Shower difficult to operate and one of the female ones was completely broken,,, Dirty still 'creek'??? behind site which smelt... and to top if all off - a birthday party that went to 1.30 am in the morning and a very early wake up call as the camp site is on the Auckland Airport Flight plan... I cannot believe people stay there least of all give it a good review. We have stayed in many, many campgrounds and have never seen one as run down as this...

A very friendly place with a real family feel, in a beautiful location across the road from a beach. Offers motels, cabins and caravan accomodation, plus motorhome, caravan and tent sites. The camp is sheltered, and most tent sites have shade hedges. Well stocked shop. Simple facilities. Communal courtyard round the pizza oven creates a really nice feel. Owners are very friendly and helpful. A great hideaway that Auckland hasnt yet discovered.

Really safe for the kids - although could do with a playground. Beautiful setting and the Pizza oven is a real bonus. Its clean, its friendly, its safe, what more could you ask for in a holiday experience. - Only thing to be aware of is - its in the flight path of the Auckland Airport - so the early morning fly-overs take a bit of getting used to>

Wonderful place to stay, very quiet, a great place to have that weekend away doing nothing. boat ramp handy and you can have your boat launched for a small fee. Lovely people and always a smile, nothing too much for them.
