There are really good walks around Wellington City. We did all of the seven recommended ones, our favourite was Sanctury to Sea, which started in Trelissick Park at the bottom of Kaiwharawhara Road: this easy walk is well signposted and takes about 2 hours.Worthwhile way to see the city in a different view.

I can only assume the previous anonymous poster has some kind of personal vendetta against the operator of Sweet Georgia Cruising as her comment has absolutely no merit.
How very sad that people feel the need to post personal opinions that are deliberately trying to tarnish the reputation of an incredibly professional operator who has been in business for over 30 years.
I have been on board the Sweet Georgia many times - some of those over a period of several nights and felt totally at ease and safe in the hands of an experienced captain and crew.
There is just no pleasing some people, especially ones who are completely adverse to having any fun!

I could recommend this operator for day trips only. I took an extended trip and was concerned that the skipper (responsible for my safety) drank himself horizontal every evening.
That said, she's a lovely boat with above average standard of accomodation and facilities.
